Poker Table

Poker Table – A poker table is a piece of furniture exclusively used when playing the card game of poker. Its dimensions and shape vary depending upon which version of poker being played.

The basic casino table is oval in shape with a wooden rail, referred to as ‘the race-track’, surrounding it and a slight cutout for the dealer on one of the elongated sides. The home table takes into consideration that there is no designated dealer, which makes an octagon table shape and no dealer cutout a better design. Both tables are covered with either baize, or speed-cloth and in some cases, such as casinos they are printed on with logos, or banners.

The dimensions of traditional oval shaped casino poker tables are:

-Seven card stud table: 44" x 84"
-Casino standard Hold’em table: 44" x 102"
-Ten person Hold’em table: 44" x 96"
